He has always had a pretty quick release. The difference will come, like ABomb said, when he learns to read his progressions quickly. I think he has the tools to be a very good QB. Tennessee stole him in the 6th. Hell, AJ Mccarron hasn't even been activated for Cinncy much this season. But his wife is smokin, so theres that.

I dunno. I've never considered his release fast, but maybe it seems that way because of how slow he is.

To be fair, the progess Mett, Juice, and OBJ made from '12 to '13 was monumental. I guess most of that credit can go to Cam, which makes me confused that a lot of people are calling for his head now. AJ just isn't going to get it (read yesterday that Tommy Hodson had observed him in the preseason and realized it wasn't going to click with him), and even though it was New Mexico State or whoever, Harris definitely brings a new dynamic to this offense. For the longest time when they were actually getting somewhat equal reps, they never dared let AJ throw it in a goal line situation, but they did it routinely with Harris.
Cam deserves some blame for the offensive struggles, sure, but I think if he had been able to work with Harris all this time, we'd be seeing something special right now.
