My wife got pregnant when we were both in the middle of college with a lot ahead of us and no clear path to success

Sure, the pregnancy was ill-timed and a hurdle, but the thought never even crossed our minds

I don't see how those people don't live with regret for the rest of their lives.

i understand the rape/molestation point of view when it comes to abortion, but even still, if you don't want the baby, there are plenty of families out there that can't conceive. Give it up for adoption.

OH shite! Someone killed Cecil the Lion...meanwhile Brenda killed her baby in her womb

But but you are asking a woman to sacrifice the use of her body for drinking, smoking and other risks for 9 months, even if she gives the baby up

Her body, her right

Do you guys listen to sports radio in Baton Rouge? I like that we've had an ESPN station and they added some local radio over the last few years. Culotta and the Prince is entertaining, LSU- and Saints-centric radio. I can sometimes deal with Moscona, but I hate when he puts Richard Condon on. That guy ruins everything. The afternoon show Sports Today is decent, too.

All the stuff in Nola is the worst.

I don't really listen until football season starts

I'm digging the audiobooks now. Screw the radio with it's constant commercials

That's a pretty good idea. But my commute is kinda short. I guess the radio is good enough for the small amount of time I'm in the vehicle. When I go back and forth to Nola/BR, I could probably do an audio book. I like podcasts too.

You're right about the commercials...

Condon and Chris Powers both have voices that I just can't stand to hear

It's a definite channel change

Is the worst, by far

the tone, the inflections, the way he breathes... it makes me uncomfortable and downright angry

I would personally never abort a child, and neither would my wife. In regards to other people, I don't care what they do with their bodies. I sure as shite don't think the gubment should have any say so in the matter.

Yeah, that's sort of how I see it. I don't understand how someone could choose to abort a child, but I also don't want to take away their right to choose even though I think it's wrong.

So you believe that the unborn child is not a person and has no rights?

I'm not judging you, it's just that I see it differently I guess.

No, I'm saying for me there would be no choice...there is only one option and that is to carry the child. But it's not up to me to make that decision for another person.
