Taking the kids to blue bayou in a few weeks for a company event
They've been asking to go for a long time and now I don't have to pay for anything

Yeah, I think it might be time to take mine...

I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to do that upside down loopty loop slide

Man my Interstellar question makes me feel so dumb.

That whole thread makes me feel dumb
I have to read some of those sentences 3-4x to try and grasp what is being said

I feel like the black hole question is a good one. All the science shows I've seen and paid close attention to say that matter will stretch out like spaghetti as it gets closer and closer to the event horizon...these same science shows that tell us time and space can be bent backwards on each other to create a wormhole or that there are other earthly worlds out there...

Simple question but why were they living on the cylindrical space station when he was rescued?
I don't remember the explanation as to why they were waiting to go through the wormhole to get to the new planet

i think this holds true, but they had to do something to wrap up the movie. Showing MM being crushed into a stringy blob of goo wouldn't have won over fans anymore than the actual ending IMO.
Then again, science bases all its knowledge on how light and other objects in space react near, and i guess inside, a black hole. I hold some apprehension to anything determined on something a kabillion light years away

**SPOILERS****
It has something to do with the scientist that made up all the bullshite originally. He couldn't figure out the math on everything...basically b/c he made it up. But they had asked MM if he recognized anything about the place when was in the meeting room.

Well, at least I'm not the guy confusing it with the Transformers movie.

Some guy in the M/TV Board thread...
Anyway, why does the OT hate Kevin Hart? I think that little dude is hilarious. He might be overexposed, but I don't watch all that much TV so I guess I don't relate.

He yells too much IMO but he's funny sometimes
Eta: that thread is not very hateful for the OT
Sounded more like people afraid to say they liked him in case it was frowned upon by other non-cargo short wearers

I don't understand why CGI bothers so many people
It's something I feel like I don't even notice when I'm watching a movie

if it's done correctly, it doesn't bother me. There are some instances where it's blatantly obvious...in which i don't enjoy it

Purple just bitch about how much a movie uses it, yet in the same breath their aDD minds will complain about how a different movie didn't have enough visually pleasing scenes.

A movie like Inception or Gravity used a ton of CGI and it all looked realistic and immersive. I just think if it doesn't look right it can be distracting. Avatar was basically all CGI but it was believable.
I will go watch that trailer in a bit.

I just watched again, this time keeping an eye on the effects. None of it really stood out to me, but maybe I'm so movie-dumb I don't know what I'm looking for
Still excited to see it. This will be much better on the big screen
