I'm still skeptical, but I haven't had someone do brakes for me, ever. So, I wouldn't be sure what they charged anyway.

That's a standard hourly rate.
They never seem to turn rotors anymore either. They must make them too thin these days.

I thought about for when I was in the market for my car. I had some prospects saved on their website, but I found too good a deal at a dealership in Pensacola.
I didn't have a trade in, though. I just had a check. You can use your offer from Carmax as leverage at a dealership if the dealership wants to bone you on your trade.

I would put a sign on it and park it by the road, maybe post it on CL
At least give it a couple weeks to see what happens. Their offer likely isn't going anywhere if you have to fall back to them.
