The chat audio went to the set, but the background music on the PS menu was still through my TV

Yeah I had game audio and chat through that little earbud. That's why mine was good from the jump.

I know man, my bad. For some reason I talk loud when I have those things on because the sound is so loud. Like I feel like I have to talk over it.
