Nah youll be fine... the only reason it was so tough was because of the wind. Constant 20MPH cross winds with those pin locations is fricking HARD.

is that due to the LiveWeather being activated? Or is that just the game?

def heavy, but they block out all outside noise. They also have a slight echo but it didn't really bother me. The mute function is pretty cool, you just lift the mic up and it automatically mutes it.

In the game. Breezy is 5-10mph, windy is anywhere from 7-22mph. Its a bitch when you set your shot up in 8mph winds, take your swing and a gust of 20mph comes rolling through while your ball is in the air. I went into 17 (the island green) knowing I was gonna hit it in the water. Took my bogey and went on to the next hole.

Have we figured out which courses we're playing in the tourney? I have a feeling I'll be seeing a few of them for the first time.

i noticed that most of the downloadable courses are only 3.99 a piece

they also have a 5 pack for 15 bucks and then like a 12 back for 34.99

i really only want the courses i need for the pga tour, i could do without all the fantasy ones for the most part

do you still get XP and course mastery when you just play a regular game, as in not a tournament round?

I was on the verge of getting rid of TW12 until last night when I started figuring out the putting and realizing that course mastery feature counts for something. My caddie was always getting me into trouble off the tee and on approaches, so I just reverted back to my own custon shots and started knocking in birdies.

I have AI scoring on very low, so going -4 and finishing T34 is a nice challenge. I'm sold on TW and I think Ima get some of dem DL courses, too.

ETA: I wish the graphics were better...this is a game where beauty is a big part of it. You'd think EA would give a shite.

i find myself using most of his tee shots and most of his approach shots unless he's counting on it taking the perfect bounce over 3 bunkers or some dumb shite

i find that the putting line is usually on (within the circle) but sometimes the speed can be off

i add break to a lot of the short ones where he says to knock it straight in but firm

i have a hard time hitting a putt straight if i know the green is sloped, i have to account for it, it usually doesnt bite me in the arse

Lots of his tee shots are something stupid, like 87% high draws. I mean, that's nice and all but I'd rather put the ball in the fat part of the fairway with a 100% high fade and not hit the tree.

I read the approach shots way better than my caddie. I also do way better at reading the greens than he does.

My golfer is only in the 35-40's in ratings, though.

i just find it quicker to use his shot off the tee most of the time

only time i'll change it is if he's not hitting driver

if its 87%, i still knock it 100, unless there's water or something

Off the tee and approach shots he can kiss my arse, but Ill use him for the speed on most of my putts.

I use most of the caddie's drives. Approaches are hit and miss. I'm a little more aggressive than my caddie. Putting...I usually ignore the suggestions. Sometimes I'm right, sometimes I'm wrong. I can't take the suggested line when I see the green is moving in the opposite direction as the caddies's reading it.
