if i want a new 60* wedge. you think its worth tracking down an illegal grooved one, say CG12 or 15.

you can spend anywhere from 200 on a full set of beginner clubs to about 700 for a decent set up to 1500 or more if you want to go all out
i started with a knight golf set that was 150, bag included
played it for several years before getting my first decent set
you don't want to invest too much without knowing whether or not you'll enjoy it
but frick, its an outdoor game, that you don't have to be in shape for, and you can drink beer with 3 or 4 buddies
whats not to love?
