Pass rush and shut down corners...two things we never have. Thought it was fixed the year of the Super Bowl, but it wasn't.

I thought we had decent pass rush under Williams' D. He is more aggressive than Spags. But yea, in the NFL you need to generate pass rush, otherwise your DB's will get torched.

But I think shut down corners can be a product of pass rush. You rattle the QB, you really affect the offensive rhythm. Saints just never were able to get a decent rush from the defensive line. And that is what the whole Spags scheme is built on.

Yep. Verry Poor offseason for the Saints, excluding Bounty Gate. Could have retained Nicks or Porter on franchise if Brees had resigned much earlier.
