I think it's about time we moved up the difficulty and started playing on Heisman. This shite is getting out of hand some of these scores, and I'm including myself in this. Totally objective observation in regards to the matter.
This is going to get mighty boring playing the same user games over and over, then having the same two or three teams running the show later on down the line. There is not a computer team out there that could probably beat any of our teams right now.
I say we go to Heisman at the end of the year. I'd like to play realistically with no RBs or WRs catching 50 passes in a game and having 800+ yards, or a QB with over 3,000 yards by game 5. There is no fun to all this because it's basically manipulating the game, and exploiting its weaknesses which allow shite like that propel players into position to win awards that would be won any other way--unless they're, dare I say it?: cheesing.

I agree 100%. Heisman difficulty is a must. Playing the computer has become way too boring.

I have a question about "cheesing". When Percy Harvin plays QB for Florida a few times a game is it cheesing? I have a WR with decent throwing ratings and I put him at QB 3-5 times a game in the quick QB sub package in the Gator Heavy formation. Is that cheesing? I have done this against users already and have received no complaints.

No because it's an actual formation. Running it every time if you find a way to exploit the defense is cheesing. Running screens every time is cheesing.
I know I rack up the stats with Willie Bowie, but it's not uncommon to see a guy throw for 50 TDs in one season. I throw 35-45 times a game; that's just the way my offense runs. I don't recruit fullbacks anymore because of this.
Going for it on 4th down on your side of the 50 in the first half is ok if it's a user game and you're down three scores, but let's try to keep it realistic. The more I play this game, the more I see how much work is left to be done if EA wants to put out a great product.

Im not against this but man, for my team to play on Heisman is a bit of a stretch at this point. I mean I almost lost to Fresno last week.
This will not be good for me. And I guess what Im saying is is that its not entirely fair for the guys who just joined 2 seasons ago. I mean seeing roll drop 100 on someone is crazy I know, but my team is no where close to that caliber, and that goes for sropping 50 on a shitty team. I'd like one more year of recruiting before we did this. Like Brad said, maybe at the end of the year.
I don't cheese or anything, just run my offense and do what I can to win games, but this will not work if we step it up to heisman.
FWIW Im all for it, but just not at this point because I will get murdered game in and game out. Just consider this please, and if everyone still wants to go through with it before the next advancement, well then thats fine. Just please consider waiting til the end of the season.

I am with you, dude. I still have some kinks to work out with my team if I want to compete at the highest level and be successful, so I can understand your concerns. That's why, initially, I suggested we do it at the end of the season. That would be the only fair way to do this.
We all need to give input to see what we come up with. We need to reach a consensus before anything is done.

Damn, I just simmed about 8 seasons with New Mexico and they are damn strong. Back-to-back-to-back unbeaten seasons (2013-2015), 61 straight wins (2012-2016), two straight national titles (2014, 2015), and finally, in 2017 we joined the Big XII. 2014 and 2015 we won the BCS National Championship; we played and lost in the BCS NCG in 2016 and 2017.
The offense is fricking unreal. Like Oklahoma practically.
