Guys, I got some bad news. I won't be able to advance the dynasty for another week apparently.

Yesterday, I was sitting around watching the Auburn/Ole Miss game, and suddenly the lights in my house started flickering, and I could hear like a pounding noise coming from my walls where my house breaker box was. All of a sudden all the lights went out, and the room I was in filled with black smoke. I jumped up and shut off the main control breaker, and I opened some windows to clear out the smoke. After it was clear, I tried to turn on the main breaker to see what would happen, the lights from the roof come on, but none of my wall outlets in the entire house work anymore.
I went outside and checked a couple breakers outside near the meter, and discovered that the black wire that leads to all my 110 plugs had caught fire and melted a big hole in the aluminum breaker box. Called an electrician, and he told me that if the box wasn't aluminum, my whole house would have engulfed in flames.

So were staying next door at my in laws house, on Wednesday Entergy will come and shut down all power to my house so all the wiring and breakers can be changed, and they told me it's likely that they won't be able to restore power until next Monday.

Sorry about this guys, it scared the hell out of me and the first thing I thought about was this dynasty when I realized that none of my plugs work.

Who wired that shite?

I've seen some pretty stupid shite before. I was an electrician for Triad and ISC, and I did a lot of maintenance work at Motiva Convent and that hell hole Shintech in Plaquemine. If you could see the bullshite wiring done at Shintech, you'd shite yourself. I'd hate to be a maintenance hand at that facility right now.
