Let's not get too carried away. I guess now is as good a time as ever to have an open forum discussion about what the commish and I talked about via email.... What do you think, commish?

I am nowheres near established, im having a hard time getting recruits intrested in me because i play in a WAC conference, hopefully the sec is in my near future.

And Digg, for the record, I feel your pain. Do you have any idea how hard it is to recruit quality players to come to New Mexico? And the fact that my state has maybe 8-12 recruits tops a year doesn't help matters; granted that maybe one or two of them are a 4* or 3*--the rest are all 1*'s and 2*'s.

It's not some inclusive scheme or anything like that; don't think that for one second. I tossed around some ideas the other night and he agreed that we needed to all be in favor of them before any of the plans are implemented.

Alright. I just figured now was as good a time as ever to interject, because I don't want things to go south on this dynasty.
I mean seriously, guys... look at all the other dynasties. We're on year four. Something is obviously going right. How do y'all think I felt when I went from 11-2 and 10-3 with back-to-back MWC championships, to 8-5 and 2nd place without even giving Digg a fight because my defense was so terrible? And then on top of all that have my best RB (Martin)--who won a Doak Walker Award and was a 2-time All-American--along with my prized WR recruit (Smith)--who also made the All-America team--decide to jump ship on me and head for Arizona State?
Yeah, I was pissed off, but frick... look at LSU.

Guys calm down I lost to La Tech twice last year by 4+ touchdowns. I accepted it because he did an outstanding job at getting athletes to go to Ruston. I play him again this year and more than likely the same thing will happen since my team got worse.

I was placing real-world 2008 LSU and fantasy land New Mexico in juxtaposition for comparison to point out the obvious reality that life isn't always so peachy, even after a championship season.

O ok, I wasn't sure if you were talking about real-world LSU or fantasy world. Because last year fantasy LSU went like 3-9, so I wasn't sure if you were saying that even a team like LSU can suck.
