It really only worked for Tearaway maybe a little for uncharted. But like killzone (I know you can change it) dragging your finger across the screen to knife someone really.

I wish we had L2/R2, I would use remote play like way more than I do, and I still use it often as is.
Some games get the mapping right, top left or right of touch screen (or bottom) it's the games that have L3/R3 funtions. they usually put the wrong ones on the back touchscreen. I hate the damn back touch screen.

Destiny did a good job making remote play as friendly as possible with the Vita. It actually just pisses me off since it shows that other dev's can do the same but they don't I would love for Diablo to be remote play friendly. It is unbearable with the touch controls.
