Yeah, Infamous looks ridiculously good.

The Show will look fantastic too.

Pumped for both.

You can tell he's new at trolling or he just really sucks at it.

I've put around four hours into it and I'm really enjoying it. I don't really understand the lower scores. I saw that the main complaints were aesthetics, AI, framerate, and story. I think the game looks really good. I think the AI is pretty decent. I have had no problems with framerate. The story I have found to be very interesting and captivating. I think the star of the game is the atmosphere, though. I just finished the House of Blossoms mission and the last part of that mission was pretty creepy. Overall, I'm having a really good time with it, so far. Oh, and I'm playing it on the Xbox Juan.

In all fairness scores weren't bad on average. It's in the 60's on metacritic which is about decent.

Does this have a Dishonored gameplay feel buy with a far shallower universe?

It looks fun from the streams I watched.

Sort of, but not really. Corvo always had a weapon in his hand, ready to strike. Garrett, however, is unarmed, for the most part. Being spotted in Dishonored wasn't that big of a deal. You could easily smite any enemy down. There is a much higher penalty for being spotted in Thief, as Garrett is a thief, not an assassian. He can't deal or take the punishment Corvo could. Dishonored basically paid homage to the original Thief games, just putting an assassian twist to the first-person stealth aspect. So, the games play pretty differently because of this. I also feel like there is way more to explore in Thief. The world seems more vertical than in Dishonored.

Thanks, really good brief and not too detailed summary of the comparison of gameplay.

How is the universe? Is it has deep as Dishonored? I still think Dishonored might have been one of the best games in the last 5 yrs. It had a really in depth storyline which was well thought out with multiple characters of influence.

Dishonored really is one of the best games I've played the last few years. Just so many ways to go about things. Lots of replay value

Yeah, the world is vastly more expansive than Dishonored. In Dishonored, you started a mission and Samuel basically brought you right to where you needed to be. In Thief, you actually make your own way to wherever you're headed, through The City. Also, there are so many side quests in Thief. I mean, there were maybe six in Dishonored (Three, iirc, for Granny Rags and Slackjaw). I have found seventeen, so far, in Thief. The world demands use of your physical abilites, rather than in Dishonored where you could just blink everywhere. Just not having those supernatural abilites makes the world seem much larger than it already is.

I'm loving it, so far. The lower scores, I just don't understand. I feel as if this is more of a 8/10 kind of game than a 6/10 kind, as the majority of the reviews indicate. What's the specs of your new rig, btw, I'm curious?

Well Dishonored wasn't loaded with side quests but had tons of optional objectives which greatly impacted the story.

From what you and others have said so far, I will be picking up this game.

+1 for relaying a clear message and response. Are you on PC and nVidia? We could be friends.
