Really? Twitter and everyone I've talked to seemed to be impressed by it.
Sony referred to this expo as "part II of E3"
It was just more of the same games we already knew were coming and still with no release dates.
That Samurai game looks alright and I didn't care for The Last of Us Part II trailer. No Final Fantasy VII or Death Stranding?

The Detroit game looked interesting.
Spider Man also looked badass.

I mean that was better than the rest of the big 3. You have to remember PlayStation still has it's own show soon. They showed some nice clips and Sucker Punch's new IP for a relatively small show. 2018 is loaded for Sony.

VR lineup looked solid. Detroit looks fricking amazing. Monster Hunter is gonna be that game I pour hours into just blowing off steam the way you all play COD or BF.
I’m still absorbing TLOU presentation. Visually awesome, love the brutality. Not sure if I’m into the playable flashbacks or not.
Disappointed we didn’t get more precise release dates. All in all, not bad.

No love for Spelunky 2? Do yall even play videogames?!

They only like games as big as their dicks.

quote:Spelunky is one of my favorite games of all time. I still play it at least every few months. I'm just as excited for this as I am for TLOU2. But yeah, you're not going to see a ton of love for Spelunky on this board or any "indie" game for that matter.

Also, Guacamelee 2 looks great.

the ones in Uncharted 4 were a boring, uninteresting slog.

Intrigued by this. Never quite finished the first one but it was really fun, especially co-op. Metroidvania game and I found it hilarious how they did the morph ball........just turned you into a chicken

For anyone who doesn't know, Guacamelee is like the marriage of Grim Fandango's setting (Mexican Day of the Dead) mixed with the exploration and upgrades of Metroid. And the combat feels like something out of a fighting game with combos, launchers, etc.

I’m an UC fan and I agree.
But I was more thinking about that Left Behind DLC for TLOU. It sucked. I was bored and annoyed I spent $15 on a dull flashback that didn’t really add to the experience of TLOU. Now for TLOU2, do I really need a backstory on Ellie’s mom? We’ll see what they do with that...
TLOU2 is almost certainly a day 1 purchase for me, though.

same. i was talking to a few people about this yesterday. does anyone really care about Ellie's mom? I doubt it. Druckmann just has this obsession with flashbacks, but they are never really engrossing, unfortunately. hopefully we're pleasantly surprised
