Nope, you can use it forever. You just have the watermark and can't customize your wallpaper or color scheme. You get all the same updates. There's no compelling reason to pirate it anymore because Microsoft is on top of all the cracking and keygen stuff of the past. With windows being tied to hardware now, a key can only be burned a few times before they shut it down(if you don't have proof of purchase). Just download an .iso from their site, buy a cheap key(or not), and rock and roll.

Re: compatibility

Once you pick out your CPU you’ll find a motherboard for the CPU. You can then look up the manual of the motherboard and compatible components will be listed. These aren’t everything that will work but if it’s on the list it’s certified to work. It’s not a difficult process.

Pretty bad. My buddy got a 2700 with a RTX 2060 Super not too long ago same price.

If he's patient and keeps his eye on Slickdeals, he'll likely find better. Depends if OP is willing to wait for a deal.

I got a laptop way more powerful than this for only $100-$200 more, because it was $500 off. That same deal is not around anymore.

Just saw this on SlickDeals

quote:

Thermaltake H200 White Case
AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor
8GB DDR4 3000MHz Memory
500GB Solid State Drive w/ 3D NAND
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 6GB GDDR5 Graphics

Less RAM, better processor. $675

At the end of the day though, better to build your own unless you're wanting things like water cooling or really elaborate RGB setups and are paranoid about working with those. Not that you're going to get either for the price range you're looking at.

I'm looking at a Ryzen 3600 CPU and an ASrock B450 Motherboard... but everything I'm seeing says i MIGHT have to update the BIOS... is that a big deal?
