OK guys, I havent read the past 75 pages, but I have a 7970 and and old AMD Phenom II Black x4 at 3.3 ghz. Been waiting for the newer intels to come out. Should I put down extra money for the newer versions or get a good deal on the ivy's? Any links to bundles of mobo/proc would be hugely appreciated.

I know... It is a x2 that had two cores unlockable. When I run the AMD overclocking tool it boots at 3.5.
Been sitting on the upgrade of the mobo/cpu for a long time now. Love the 7970 I have but figure its finally time for the big upgrade.

What kind of deal are you thinking? That is a hell of a lot more mobo than I ever had considered but would be interested to hear.
