Well buying the mixamp for under $100 and a pair of headphones for $100 would have been 100x better for ps4... What do we know

and you can personally gaurantee that they would be compatible with the PS4? If so, I am listening. I kept my receipt for my Astros in case anything went wrong, so it's not like I can't return them.

Yea the mixamp is what powers the headphones, so the mixamp should be able to power any set of headphones. You'll just have to get a mic with it (there are good zalman clip on mics for $8).

frick I need a beer. I've been reading shite all damn day and my brain is ready to clock out. Thanks for the clarification. I would still need a mic for my PS4 for live streaming. Which is why I went with the Astro A40s.

Mic

The headphones are the same size, if not smaller, than the a40 headset. I wasn't talking about using the mixamp and such for music

I know. I won't even use the Astros for headphones when I am out and about. I have a set of headphones I use for things like running, yard work, etc.

Yea, im just missing the hard drive and the power supply. Aside from that, I have everything I need. One thing I know I don't have is any ESD straps. What is something I can use that may be laying around the house that would keep me from ruining the MOBO or anything else I tinker with?
