Just reading the rules of that subreddit, and apparently negative posts about someone's high-end hardware leads to ban, so those little passive-aggressive comments like "So what are you using that CPU for that you needed such a high OC?" should be bannable, because it's just a setup question. No matter what you say, the response will be "you don't need it."
Oh, and:
Damn, my knowledge has 0 credibility now. But still, I like that rule if it's enforced properly.

Look up widgitybear on twitch. Dude has a dual Xeon setup and I don't think it looks good enough to warrant that type of money spent.

Yeah, I wouldn't think so.
Left alone an 8350, i7 and i7-E would all be enough to encode quality packs.
I have just always wanted a dual brain system. Maybe I'll start doing a little 24P folding? IDK.

Really though, I only have 2 hobbies now. Computers and Fishing, so I like to experience the best gaming has to offer with computer and with my boat I love looking awesome. lol

I'm not starting up AC4 until probably next week. I'm trying to finish uncharted 2 first then will start it if I have time. I just have too many games going right now so I need to beat one before I move on.

I am on my least stages of Metro and cant finish. The game is awesome and characters are keeping my attention, just don't know I can't finish it.
Just beat Splinter Cell: Blacklist and Burial at Sea was a let down. I am sort of looking forward to AC4.

Ubisoft gave a lot of love to PC gamers with this AC. We have a ton graphical options to utilize for better performance or graphical fidelity.

I have one of these (well, my parents) that doesnt work and was quoted $1500 to fix it. What's something cool I can do with it? I want to get it back up and running arcade games, but I have no idea how to make it happen.
I was thinking about building a PC inside of it, but I don't know how to wire up the buttons and joystick, along with the screen itself

What doesn't work about it? I know some folks who are pinball machine and arcade game fanatics with some repair skill. They're mostly into the mechanical nature of pinball machines though.

That's one thing I hate about living here, no gamers to play with. I used to love getting together, drinking, and playing. Sure we can play online but it's not the same.
