Do you know if maxwell is supposed to offer anything unique or just better?

They are putting a small ARM CPU on the card bro.

A lot will change.

EDT: The unified memory stuff I still dont understand. Basically though, it will make comunication quicker between CPU and GPU since the system RAM and GPU RAM will be accessed by both components.

I guess I can wait and see. I'm in no need of a change, just want to.

This is definitely a good thing, since the architecture's ability to access more onboard RAM has always been limited by the density of the modules themselves. Basically, by unifying the memory and enabling both the CPU and GPU to directly access the same data, the bottleneck created by the need to copy the data between memory blocks is now eliminated. AMD has been developing this as well. I think I remember reading something about it back in the spring. I need to brush up/actually gain more knowledge on the AMD APUs.

The problem is, by the time I'm ready to upgrade, the AMD line is always the current superior performer at the budget I have in mind. With Maxwell slated for an early 2014 release, that might change.

If you're asking me.. I would say fckk yeah. Not many games utilize it but the ones which do.. it really makes the environment feel alive.

Deep web conversations are awesome... but I don't want to take part in any OT conversation.

If I could physically fight someone through a computer screen, it would be half that OT gang.

I know very little of the deep web, I would love to know more but something tells me the ot isn't the place.

I feel like the OT used to be flooded with knowledge.. now it just seems silly with a bunch of kids spouting off stupid shtt.

Have you ever downloaded TOR so you could visit some of those deep web .ONION sites? There is a whole other world underneath this "public" internet.

I have. I didn't get far though. I might dabble again this weekend.

Tor was compromised a while back. I would find an alternative.

Also would use a Ubuntu live CD and McDonald's wifi if you plan on doing anything too sketchy

Read the anarchist's cookbook and things like that. Like I said, I didn't dig too deep.

Public WiFi is the new PayPhone for criminals.
