Intel’s behavior is PATHETIC – Core i9 10980XE Review
AMD clearly isn’t tired of winning yet… - Threadripper 3970X/3960X Review
Zen 2 Threadripper is fricking nutty.
No wonder Intel didn't want to go against it as he says in the first video.

Oh okay, I don't really keep up with Intel's stuff beyond i5 and i7.

Damn, I was just came from Home Depot and didn't find anything. I almost went to Lowe's but figured it would be about the same.

I rather Home Depot's "tool world" but Lowe's has the better bulb selection.
Everything else Home Depot.

The 512gb SSD+3tb HDD+1tb HDD is dumb, but outside of that, it's not too far off from my machine
frick playing on an ultrawide, that shite is terrible. I have 27" gsync 1440p 144hz main monitor and above that I had my ultrawide 34"

Which one? That's the biggest issue I'm having. The pixio PX7 is sort of the leader right now.

Agreed, that was the product of too much drinking. Think the price difference was $36, so I just rolled with it.
I also have a 16tb synology NAS (I could also upgrade the RAM in it and/or swap to SSDs but not sure it would really be useful.)
The monitor will likely long outlast the PC, so I’m taking my time making a decision. I need something with strong color reproduction for photo editing and high refresh rate for gaming ...so that seems to be both expensive and limits my options.

I'm just saying gaming wise, it's going to suck playing on an ultrawide

What are the negatives for UW? I was watching some battlefield in UW and it looked glorious. My original impulse was the 49” UW Samsung....but figured I’d tone things back a little.

Question for you Plex savants.
Any way to record Hulu Live shows?
Posted on 11/30/19 at 9:41 pm to LSU Coyote
Setup automatic torrent download of whatever show you want to watch? It won't be live but you can't watch it basically as soon as it's done airing
Posted on 12/1/19 at 9:16 pm to bluebarracuda
The issue I have is with Hulu's DVR. It's not really a "DVR".
Fckking DVR'd shows expire. They function closer to "On-Demand" services than traditional DVR.
