But it isn't used for browsing. I'll use my Chromebook, the SO's Surface Pro or a Lenovo Yoga 730 I just purchased.
Edt: I had an Inspiron with a 1050 Ti earlier in the year. That is a VERY capable GPU at 1080. It ran AC: Origins on Ultra at an avg 45fps. Extremly impressed with the performance, acoustics and heat/power consumption.

I hate it for PUBG, especially with a 60hz display. It feels so terrible going from like 200 for to 50-60

Yeah I had a 2017 Surface Pro and sold it a few months ago and was planning on getting the new one but kind of debating that and a full fledged gaming laptop.

I use my SP1 as my steam link all the time now over my gaming laptop. Since my new apt is so small I'm either at my desk (in my living room) or playing n64 emulators on the couch

If you can imo both. Browsing and traveling with a gaming laptop not only is uncomfortable but it looks stupid.
My advice to anyone is spec out your gaming laptop to your budget and downgrade specs for your ultra/everyday laptop.
No need for and i7/i9 to just browse the internet since the last 8th gens. Settle on an i5/8gb. Nvem is a must so do mechanical and purchased a cheap nvem if it saves cost.

Yeah if I grab the SP6 I'll go with the 8GB i5 for $899, no need for the i7 this go around with the 8th gens and they both have the same iGPU.

Yeah that is awesome for what we had to pay for 2 cores only last year. But honestly it is enough for the SO. She just does schoolwork on it and uses it as an ebook.

I'm not excited.
Windows 10 fix for my microcode issue 100% broke my main computer. I can't even reinstall W10 on it. Tried an Ubuntu install and that works fine but not W10.
