Own thread spinoff: Companion/Same universe games so good they should’ve been direct

Sequels. Most obvious immediate answer to me for this is crisis core. It adds so much the FF7 and almost every minute of it matters in a way

Good choice here too. This is a bit of side tangential, and coming from someone who loves the FF13 trilogy as they we released, but believe if th was have done FF versus 13 as it originally was meant to be, followed by the type 0 console release before finally doing the Lightning trilogy. I mean more or less you have some sort t of chronological order to follow and you get the insane amount of expiation those games reunite in vs and type0. Still don’t know why they pussied out and turned it into the soulless ff15
