The frostbite engine is notoriously difficult to work with. It’s great as an FPS engine. Madden’s physics are some of the worst in franchise history since they switched over to it. Madden prints money and they can’t make running look natural. If you think they’re going to suddenly get that right for NCAA after 5 or 6 years of it looking awful for Madden then I’ve got some ocean front property in Arizona to sell you.

The problem with Madden is that all of the crew who switched it over to the Frostbite engine over a decade ago has moved on, like none of them are still there and the new staff can only do so much to fix it. They’ve said numerous times that they need to take it off the market for a year at least to rebuild it but the big wigs and the NFL don’t give a frick about that because MUT brings in billions in year.
The base engine (Frostbite) is not the problem. The problem was they decided to build a football game on it in less than a year and have been trying to play catch up on fixing it for over a decade.

The frostbite engine has been there for seven years. It’s never been revered for its fluidity like Madden from PS2 era (or 2k). You’re literally the only person to advocate for the frostbite engine in Madden. It looks pretty if you want graphics I’ll give you that. If you want gameplay and a more natural feeling game, it just isn’t it. Maybe the NCAA devs are geniuses and make a discovery that Madden hasn’t been able to do for 7 years and counting.

I’m going to trust the people who work on the games on a daily basis who know what the problems are and are honest about what the problems are and why they can’t fix it over some random internet nitwits online who parrot the same “BuT tHe EnGiNe Is ThE pRoBlEm” while likely typing with one finger on a hand at a time.

That’s coming from one random guy who claims to have info on the game but has been completely wrong on several things.
They announced years ago that it would only be on current gen consoles and he’s still saying “he believes it will not be on last gen consoles but can’t confirm that”.
Game may very well not be on PC but I wouldn’t take his word as indication one way or another.

There’s been no indication from any official source that it’s on anything but consoles. I would be stunned if it was on PC. They made a big deal about the game only being on current gen consoles. Never a mention of PC

but they develop it on PC. wouldn't make sense to leave it out. especially since madden is on PC.

The amount of people that think this game is going to be a modern NCAA 14 is hilarious.
This is going to be current Madden with NCAA jerseys and fans.

It’s built on Frostbite for one. This engine cannot produce the organic gameplay that NCAA 14 gave us.
It’s been 11 years since NCAA 14. The gaming industry is a much different animal now. The amount of casuals who will drop 100+ on an average game for DLCs and MUT packs is insane.
EA will capitalize on this just like every other AAA title creator does.
3. The screenshot of ND players looks like the exact linebacker models from Madden. If they didn’t even bother creating younger looking, slimmer player models to represent the majority of college players, then what else did they copy paste from Madden?

If we don’t see raw gameplay tomorrow, I highly suggest you think about some of this.
My bet is that we see “gameplay” of zoomed in cherry picked animations that will make it look “cool and dope!” They won’t show the corners catching up to a WR who has burned them by 10 yards at the LOS yet they somehow caught up to them and deflected the ball or tackled them from behind and pulled them down in a way that defies logic.
It will be full of canned animations. You can’t even properly dive in Madden. Your player basically falls to the ground.

Are you under the impression that the linebackers at Notre Dame are noticeably smaller than NFL linebackers? Is that seriously a complaint?
You’re melting down about something that hasn’t even shown a single legit image or video of gameplay yet. I’ll never understand why you nutsacks want to be the first to declare something terrible or a failure before you have even seen it but you do you.

In terms of the details and content, I’m sure it will feel like college football, but unless you are simulating every game, what does any of that matter if the gameplay is rage inducing due to the utter lack of realism.
Madden feels like a game I used to play at the arcade at the mall as a child. It’s not football, it’s a gimmick. It’s the only option we have so we pretend we like it.
