I wonder if that new Tarkov style mode will be the “Alpha” when the finally announce it. I think the reveal trailer will be on 6/8/22.

Seeing a lot of comments about last-gen still being supported — Infinity Ward has stated last-gen is Call of Duty’s biggest player base and with new consoles still hard to find, it makes no sense to leave those players behind. EX: Sony has sold 115M+ PS4s, only 20M PS5s so far.

Modern Warfare 2's cheapest edition is $70 across all platforms, including PC. Yes - Activision raised the price by $10 for all platforms.
The Vault Edition is $99.
There is no $60 edition anymore.

Infinity Ward mentioned they’ve spent a lot of time building upon and enhancing all systems in #ModernWarfare2, from movement to gun play and more, to ensure the game felt new and different and not like an expansion pack to the 2019 game.

RICOCHET Anti-Cheat will be available in #ModernWarfare2 and Warzone 2 from Day 1, when both launch. They did mention MW2 and Warzone 2 won’t launch on the same day.

Activision has confirmed that the #Warzone 2.0 experience will be releasing later this year, with more information to be announced.
Warzone 2.0 will share the engine, gameplay mechanics, and be an extension of the #ModernWarfare2 universe.

#ModernWarfare2 introduces new vehicle combat, including abilities to lean out of windows with weapons, climb on top of vehicles, and jump from vehicle to vehicle. #ModernWarfare2 will feature Water and bring swimming into the engine, and water will be featured in all modes of the game, including #Warzone 2.
Devs said they can’t keep building #Warzone maps without water.

#ModernWarfare2 has a big focus on AI.
AI in #MW2 reacts, is lethal, and fully aware of their surroundings to provide a sense of life across all modes of play. AI can group up, flank players, and more.
They have tested a large sandbox with 300 AI and 100 live players.

that's what it says. one of the things people are in an uproar about is that all of the skins/blueprints people have bought over the years won't be carried over. everything will be new. even the stats. however, it appears that WZ1 will still be available to play in addition to WZ2.

I got nostalgic and decided to play some Ground War on MW2019 to refresh my memory. Man, I realize why I can't hang with CoD anymore. It only took 30 seconds after being in a game and getting jump killed around a corner with a skittle-dressed douchebag with a no scope SMG before I remembered why I can't stand CoD anymore.
MWII is going to have to bring something different for me to get it. I'm going to need a realism mode and/or some kind of hardcore coop mission mode. Otherwise, the same old domination and TDM fast twitch gameplay is lost on me.
