I hate it. Getting nothing but lobbies full of Roze skins and can't see shite. It's like they're giving everyone one last hurrah of crazy camoflauge through the entire map before nerfing it

I think that’s the only download. The new map is in the game files. It’s just behind a playlist wall.
There’s a YouTube video where a guy started a private match and spawned into the new map. Private matches are disabled now lol.
New SMG seems pretty good. High fire rate, big drum you can unlock, nice iron sights, and manageable recoil.

i think we all downloaded the map when season 3 released at 12am/et - 11pm/ct last night. there will be a playlist update at 3pm/et - 2pm/ct today. that's the purpose of the countdown timer in the lobby screen.
TheGamingRevolution released a video today showing off some of the new items in the new map. Here's the video.

apparently, all the ground loot weapons will be Cold War weapons only. not so sure about loadouts though.
Summit will be above where the Dam used to be along with the Dam being replaced by a bridge.
Stadium will be completely open. Bowl style stadium.
The Russian letters shown in the Rebirth Island locations translate to a website called RebirthFromTheAshes.com. you can watch a preview of the trailer there if you can figure out how to work the site.
Part 2 will be from the perspective of the people who set off the nuke (the bad guys i guess). once that's over, the season 3 trailer will start apparently.
also, the new map was available via private match yesterday before it was disabled.
eta: the gulag will no longer be a nuketown layout. it's the new map that's releasing this season that's from BO2.
