If it wasn't for the Sanguine Rose that fight would have been nigh on impossible for me to win. Thank you dremora lord.

I rolled up with a little fire resist and smoked his arse before his minions could help. After he was dead I had to run from them hoping they'd pull me out some time soon.

glad you could join in the looting and pillaging.

-I had no problem kicking his arse with my first Melee toon.

I just ran into him with my Mage and it took forever for me to kill him. I had to hide behind the word wall and bounce back and forth hitting him with firebolts.

I haven't been using smithing or enchanting to this point because that makes the game too darn easy but my mage keeps getting owned by melee types, archers and other mages.

I think it is time to gear up and show them who is boss.

Getting this game for Christmas, freaking pumped

The Dragon Priests don't pop out until you get near them so it is easy to get near them with a melee guy.

One things I have noticed with my mage.

Even though you don't hear the noise your armor makes, animals and people do react to your armor.

With my mage in robes, animals don't run away. I can get right next to them whereas dear and the like used to scramble from my melee guy from a mile away.

Yeah. My level is too high to have worthless gear. I can blow the crap out of lower level enemies but if I meet up with similar level enemies they kick my arse.

Once I can spend some time on the game I will probably make a nice glass set and enchant it with plenty of mage resistance so I can at least destroy mages easily.

I've gotten to a part of the game where I am lost. I am in Alftand, trying to reach Blackreach and all I am seeming to do is run around in circles.

The marker keeps showing that I am close to the door but I can't find it. If I go all the way down and get to the final lift past the body of Valie, I just get brought back to an a wide room that just loops back to the entrance to the ruins.

I'm starting to go nutz trying to figure out where to go in there.

You gotta go lower than that. Past Valie's body and the other... eh, pieces of body... is another doorway with a long ramp looping down. That takes you to the very, very bottom of the big-arse room that dominates that place. Kill the few Falmor down there and you've got one last doorway to go through to get to the Alftand Cathedral.
