I'm not back yet. I'm actually just leaving the hotel. I'll be home tonight at some point. Its hard to fly when you gotta buy 4 tickets and pay for transportation when you get there.

ETA: But on a serious note, i've always had the mentallity that no one will make shite happen for me. Almost a me vs. the world when it comes to moving up the ladder. I'm not a good arse-kisser, i'm working on it, but i've never been good at it. So jumping into a position or being promoted b/c i laugh at all the bosses not funny jokes ain't gonna happen. It's sink or swim and i don't want to drown

Same here. I have to make things happen for myself. I've done everything I can to move up here. I've had meetings with managers/VPs explaining what more I can offer the company. I refuse to just sit back and let my knowledge go to waste.
