when you can't stand waking up in the morning to go to the current occupational scenery

i was in that type of situation my first two jobs out of college.
Neither was on the career path that i wanted to travel. The first couple months were cool and i'd thought i'd adapt to liking the work. But all in all, it was b/c it was something new and a change from the other craptaculer job that i had.
Before this job, i hadn't stayed at a job for more than 6 months since college graduation. I'm still not in my ideal dream job(or what i perceive it to be)but this position puts me closer to achieving that goal

My ideal dream job is to sit at home and get paid to play video games. Or play golf professionally. In the meantime, I'll just thank my stars that I bring home a decent check and have a steady job.

I was at my previous job for two years (left for more money and get back into a planning role). Been at my current job almost two years. The job I'm doing is nowhere close to the role described when I interviewed. Instead of a planner, I'm more of a master spreadsheet/data entry extraordinaire. My job doesn't utilize my skills/knowledge at all.
I finished up my degree last July and since have done everything I can to move into a more challenging/rewarding position but to no avail. I want to move on, but don't want to look like a job-hopper either.

if you can explain why you moved jobs, usually an employer will look past it. At least, mine did.
I didn't lie or beat around the bush about it. I was upfront and told them that my previous work wasn't doing something i wanted to do. I let them know my goals and where i wanted my career to go. Luckily, they were able to provide the path i was looking for.

I hope so too. PSN was still offline as of this morning. IGN also has a "Is the PSN working?" link and it's currently at defcon "NO".
