Surely.
Otherwise, run out to walmart and get one for $3.82.
Everyone trying to DL it at the same time could make that download a few hours long when it's available on their website right now and takes no time to download.

yeah, but to update from the flash drive, you have to start it in safe mode and follow some extra steps. Just be aware.

No you don't, you shut off the PS4, hold power for 7 secs for safe mode then hit update system and that's it. It's fewer steps than updating via internet on regular boot as you'll have to configure your internet settings first.

If that's not extra steps, I don't know what is.

Uhhh, boot safe mode, hit 1 button to install.
Boot up regular mode, configure internet settings, select update via internet, hit yes, wait for DL, install, reboot again.

I think he forgot you'll have to configure your internet settings before you can update via internet causing about double the steps.

Not like you won't be doing that anyway
Eta: and if you are hardwired, there should be no configuring

It's still more steps?
400MB download tonight is going probably take an hour, the download on your PC takes about 2 minutes, and is less steps to install.
I don't know what to tell you if you don't understand that.

Steps that really aren't related to actually updating it
Required, yes, but pretty much required for everything

I get it bro. I was overstating because of ignorance. I'm currently downloading to USB now.

Does this shite still have to be in FAT32?
Posted on 11/13/13 at 3:51 pm to SaintEB
Can I just download it to a USB and then stick it in my PS4?
I don't know what FAT32 is.
