Be careful in the beginning. There is no save point til after first boss. Just a fair warning lol

Yep, I was playing on hard and had to knock it down to normal till I got to the first save point. Died to the first boss 3 times because he changed his attack patterns each time

So I'm pretty sure I'm at the end of Route A and I ran out of recovery items. At this point, it is literally not possible for me to buy items. Sooo I'm basically at the point where I have to git gud or I'm stuck And no i'm not turning it down to easy

Now you just need to get the rest of the endings. Nier games are typically designed to have more of the story unfold as you keep going.

I have BOTW and Horizon to finish; and I started playing overwatch bc frick destiny right now.

I'm rolling through Route B right now. There are some cutscenes and sidequests that are certainly raising some interesting questions. Route C/D should have a great payoff, if it goes anywhere near the direction I'm thinking right now.
I also really dig the existentialism of the story. It's usually a bit too morbid for me, but I'm really enjoying it thus far
