Hey bro.support package isn't just based on kills is it.I thought I heard it was point based like if you capped flags or played objectives.thoughts?

This is correct for all packages, not just support.
MW3 does not have killstreaks, it has point streaks.

Yeah, that's how it goes. Not sure on specifics, but I read you get two points for capping an objective and one for defending, each kill or assist.
Personally, I think that it's interesting but I can already bet it's going to get overused and abused. We'll just have to see.
And I'm not sure if all strike packages use pointstreaks or if it's just the support one.

Once again IW CATERS to the shitty kids who can't kill gun v gun .no offense to any one here but cmon.now some putz that sits back and camp a flag or runs around like a chicken with no head mindlessly triple capping flags gets rewarded for dumb shite? As if death steaks weren't enough.as if.

I like the ability to have different strike packages, but what I don't like is that the support one doesn't reset after you die.
As if counting assits and caps and defends as points to the streak wasn't enough, I think the fact that they don't reset is going to be a problem for balance. But, if you look at it on the other hand, lots of objective players do sacrifice a life capping B at the beginning. But after that, if you have a good enough team to secure the map, you can go streaking pretty easily.

They haven't really clarified, but I would assume that they don't reset if you die once, but subsequent deaths would reset it.

Not at all, but I find it hard to believe that anyone capable of getting 18 kills in a match would be allowed to max out on killstreaks every time.

I don't think they reset at all. IW didn't put a limitation in the description - does not reset upon death sounds like the streak doesn't reset.
I think they're trying to offset the Assault strike package stacking.

Great thread. Thanks to whoever got this stickied. Real easy to get my quick mw3 fix on mobile.
I am a bit Leary of pointstreaks too. I'm on record for saying homefronts streak system was legit. This one seems similar.. In that it rewards objective capturing with streak rewards. the cod community is full of frickheads though. I can see a Random triple capping all game
Altho that's no different from blops
seems every single team will have mad support... Making the assassin perk a must have
