They rolled over and died after 15minutes. Nothing about that game screamed to me that TL is on the same level. Which is basically what you are saying by saying they looked damn good. They looked like an outmatched team which is what everybody expected them to look like.

Today I learned losing by 10 kills and 8 towers is pretty damn good. I also learned doing the most damage in the game is being an ADC not worth a shite. Thank you papa UH.

Yeah Afreeca is kind of like 100T, they got in thanks to points mainly from the spring despite a poor summer. Kingzone and Griffin are both better.
Riot really needs to tweak the format for the 2 seed to qualify.

C9 looked great. Only lost by 8 kills and never took a tower. A few less mistakes and they might have been able to make it past 30 minutes. Really encouraging to see.

Also, Sneaky was benched half the summer split and has been mediocre in his return, he will not be back on C9 next year. I think it's about the end of his career similar to WildTurtle where he will go to a lower tier team and do okay here and there.

So cringe, but he does have a big streaming career to always fall back on and the publicity of doing frequent cosplays and what not will keep that going for a long time.

We are talking about the same guy who just took 2nd team Adc. There's just not very much talent in NA. C9s best option is to stick with blaber and get an import adc. Possibly freeze

There's not really much you can do. You have to give teams some sort of reward for winning spring you can't just decide that one split doesn't matter at all. It just so happened that Griffin got the short end of the stick that they didn't play in spring split.
