Played around 30 minutes into the game and really enjoying the gameplay.

I'd be interested to hear some more in detail opinions. The reviews seem to vary quite a bit from site to site.

I was hesitant to buy the game based on the reviews but I got it anyway and will play some tonight. The reviews say the combat is 2nd to none and the leveling system is great once you get more than a couple of hours into it, but the storlines and voice overs are boring and repetative which really suprised me with Salvatore working on the project.

Well, since we have been playing skyrim for 3 months, I'm not sure this should bother us very much.
:arrowintheknee:
Just picked mine up. I'll post something late tonight.

SONOFABITCH! I knew I should have waited, how do you not have something so simple as key remapping in a modern game?

The full version of the game was leaked, and I now have it. Free.

Good for you stealing it, you must be as proud as a new daddy! Glad you stole a shitty game!
I bought the game assuming they would at least have key mapping and because Kurt Schilling was an old EQ player. I will not support any of his games again.

You really hate this game based on key mapping?

I spoke with Todd about this game for over an hour last summer and he was super excited about it....I hope it does well for him.

ok.

I've had no problems with the default...

After 2.5 hours...
Fantastic combat mechanics
"Meaty" side quests
LOTS of loot and several things to do with it
Interactive environment
Like the leveling system and the ability to redistibute the points later.
Average graphics
Terrible voiceover work
Camera is good during combat, but feels funny otherwise
Easy so far

This game is freaking awesome. I'm playing it on PC with a 360 controller. It's like Baldur's Gate with much better gameplay, more customization, and a better story.

I'm still playing and enjoying it. Everything about the leveling system is great, particularly its flexibility. The ability to redistribute all the points in your skills/perks/destinies (for a steeper price each time) at any point in the game has added an extra dimension to it.
Combat is easily the best I've ever played for an RPG. It's really not even close. You have alot of different combat abilities accessible within the actual flow of gameplay, w/out bringing up a wheel/menu. It feels very close to Arkham Asylum combat (have AC still in the box).
Story is interesting. Bestiary is good so far.
Most of the other RPG elements are passable. Voicing is atrocious. Environment is lacking (hidden walls, no jumping up/down, stopped by a rock, etc..) Facial graphics are meh.

ETA: To be slightly more substantial, I spent a few hours playing this at a friend's house last night and it is quite simply awful. Somewhere between Two Worlds and Sacred 2.
ETA2: Okay, somewhere between Sacred 2 and Fable 3.
ETA3: Okay, I liked it a lot. But it's not better than Baldur's Gate.

I just need to turn it up I think. Paid a fateweaver, jacked up smithing and sagecraft, created uber weapons and armor, and paid him again to distribute back to sneak/detect mostly.
Plus, as soon as you can heal with magic, it gets easier again.

I haven't done any sage crafting or smithing, I just have the base weapons I've found around the world and earned in quest. My character is a mage/rogue so that may make it a little more difficult as well
