Just got to the timeskip last night, and dang does the story pick up around December. Really liking most of the post time skip designs.

This game is so, so good. It really does work and the school/explore portions are not a drag like they could have been.

I do feel this starts to be the case of TOO much stuff to do. I feel like anytime I sit down I have to play through a whole month or I'll forget something I was planning to do.

Customizing team makeups is great too. But it does get weird sometimes...like tea time.

I almost feel like some weird shite is needed in every Fire emblem game. I remember in fates where you had to blow into your 3ds to cool your spouse off. I love it though I'm cruising along thinking my squad is perfectly fine and then bam the difficulty cranks up and my team is getting crushed.

Yep. Played on Hard/Classic and the difficulty definitely ramped up post-timeskip.

On a different note, I just completed the Golden Deer route. Really enjoyed all of the characters and felt like they were well balanced. The ending felt kind of...quick given the pacing of the game, but that's not a big deal.

I also kind of wish the classes in this game were better. We are missing some good ones like Berserker, Dread Fighter, Baron, hell not to mention all of the amazing classes from Radiant Dawn. That's my biggest gripe with this game tbh. It was a missed opportunity, especially with how expansive the teaching mechanic was.

Overall, this game is a 10/10 in my book and deservedly made its way in my top 10. Prob the best Fire Emblem when it's all said and done. Hopefully they add some classes through DLC. Will come back to this game to do other paths at a later point.

I feel like Tea Time was their way of actually using high-res models of their characters. Their artists did far too good of a job to not showcase them well.

I'm like two months into the time skip, but I don't feel like Lysithea is well balanced. I love her, but she absolutely wrecks things.

I am taking things slow. I don't get to play much. I have about 35 hours in and at the end of November. Recruited 4 characters so far.

I assume this thread is somewhat dead because we all can't stop playing this game? Plus spoilers.

I am 50 hours in Blue Lions route, a little past the timeskip. The game is full of great characters. Already thinking about another play through.

My goal is to reach the time skip next weekend since it will be a long one.

Took me about 45 hours to be the Black eagles route. Pretty amazing game.

I still like the game (characters are great, battle system is predictably good, music is great, etc.), but I do think the monastery stuff drags it down a bit.

I never look forward to the "explore" option, because the quests are just largely pointless and dull.

Anyway, I'm over 40 hours in and still seem to have a long way to go. Guess I did a lot of paralogues?

I don't mind doing the monastery stuff because it doesn't take up much time and I enjoy interacting/skills with the characters.

I'm still going at it. I've slowed down because of some events in other games I play, but I still play for a few minutes every night. I'm in the 2nd weekend of December and I'm hoping to get to the time skip soon.

Honestly, the game has been pretty easy. I rarely struggle, and I've been able to plan well enough to recruit the characters I wanted from other houses. Game is still very good, but I do hope to be challenged a bit more soon.

Got past the time skip finally. Interested to see some of the changes. Still very engaging, if not a bit easy.

You can farm your characters to be strong and there's some units who are op. Lysethia is easily the most broken. On my next playthrough I'm going to try making all my chars classes they shouldn't be.

I'm playing Hard/Classic, so I don't have infinite activity points for battle, but I do try and do the paralogues.

I've done hard classic and it has some little tough spots. It's nothing like the difficulty on fire emblem fates conquest though.
