I found the rail gun in an underground shelter, can't wait to try this thing out. It literally shops railroad spikes.

In order to save on ammo Costs (plasma, energy, ECs) I will use off the wall weapons when clearing non threatening zones.

So, I finally found the Abandoned Shack in the Wasteland which was a fricking nightmare. I'm @ Level 41, mind you. I work my way through it and get to the bottom level to find my X01 power armour - it has a chest piece a left leg only. Where the frick am I supposed to find the rest of it???

If you have armorer perk you can commit to upgrading your x01 torso to mk5 + , at least. Power armor arms require blacksmithing perk to mod. Legs I'm not sure..maybe science.

Just got me a copy of this game. Never played any of the fallouts before but have played Elder Scrolls(like 2006). Level 3. Any advice on how to collect bobby pins more easily? Also, how do you power the body armor?

Just search around desks for Bobby pin boxes. Eventually you will have hundreds.
Power armor requires a Fusion Core. They are rare early so it limits the use of power armor. Later on you will have a ton of them.

Early on its a good idea to save before picking a lock. That way if you break a Bobby pin you can just reload. Later on you will have plenty of Bobby pins.

I already cleared out Quincy a few weeks ago before I found the kid. I did run into a guy named Bullet, who offered to buy him. I declined and because he was a gunner, when he turned his back, I lit him up with my modified Guass Rifle. Finished walking the kid back home and that was that. Probably the easiest side quest for me ever.

Yeah, I found him randomly walking around too. That little bastard was locked in a fridge. I took him home, too.
Funny thing is, I found his parents in that house before I found him. I instaltly knew when he started talking that those were his parents. They had mentioned something about losing their little boy.
