Got to level 40 by turning in 13 public events and 12 bounties. I only played for a few minutes this morning but it's a weird feeling to not immediately break down green equipment since it is has better stats than my current legendary/exotic stuff.

I'm wondering if its worth it t really hang on to any of the old guns besides maybe a couple exotics for now. I'm getting green guns that are already 160+.

I'm holding on to all exotics and legendary for now. As long as I have the space I don't see why not. I'll probably break the legendary armor down soon since it serves little purpose. I might keep some with good perks just for PvP.

It was weird as frick equipping green and blue items again. I also am scared to death to break down any of my old legendary guns, but my vault is almost full at this point.
I ran through at least the first part of the story this morning (defeated at least one part of Oryx) and also got my new subclass.

I enjoyed it. I liked the cutscenes also and caught myself lol'ing a few times at the dialogue between Eris and Cayde.

It reminds me of starcraft. Give you the big cinematic then a little dialogue to expand during the mission.

I'm coming back.
I pulled the trigger and ordered Destiny: The Taken King today. My question is, I no longer have any Destiny save data on my Playstation 4, is my character and gear tied to my Playstation Network ID? If I loaded it up would it still be there?
It's not a deal breaker, I don't mind starting fresh again.

I think it's tied to your account but they give you 1 speak of light that levels 1 character to 25 to start

I got 20 Legendary Marks this morning for doing one mission. The max you can have at one time is 200, but the amount you can continue to gain throughout the week isn't capped. It appears that they won't too difficult to come by.
