it was "supposed to be released throughout the seasons" but was scrapped when activision investors didn't want to miss out on an annual release. now they're charging full price for it to appease those investors.

If I had to guess, they are going to pop out MW3 then another black ops to integrate into Warzone 2. Just like with Warzone, they had MW, Vanguard, and Cold War all combined. Maybe then the next title would begin WZ3
