so I got to 600k blood echos before I remembered I hadn't got to the cleric beast. gotta get to the cleric beast for the doll to wake up...
so I didn't have anything to spend all those echos on. there was a good chance I'd die losing them at some point between now and getting to the cleric beast. even if I got to the CB without dying I'd have to kill him in my first or second try to keep all my blood echos. so I decided I might as well up the ante and get on up to 1,000,000 blood echos to increase the thrill. actually went ahead and got up to 1,100,000.
after I got to a million echos I went to the hunters dream to spend what echos I could before trying to get to the cleric beast. got to the dream and the doll is awake......
tldr: apparently you don't have to get to the cleric beast to wake up the doll. you can reach a high level of blood echos and she'll wake up

And I love wrecking those pvpers who come into my realm. Those ladies can ring their bell all they want. luckily I haven't had two to come in that have worked together

Holy shite the cleric beast was so easy the 2nd time around. Fire paper and +10 Ludwig's tore him up. Also fighting him without a locked camera and not being scared of his damage was a huge advantage over my first run through. Even when he turns red he can't really frick with you from behind.

I'm making a new character tonight and either going a bloodtinge chikage build or a BB build. Is burial blade skill arcane scaling?

Scales mostly off of skill. All weapons will have a bit of arcane scaling since you have the option to turn them elemental with gems. You could go either route.

frick the Unseen Village is all I have to say. I see the Reborn One boss but trying to figure out if there's another way I can go. Don't like this area much at all. Those tree skull things suck

Also fwiw you can hit lvl 82 after spending 1,100,000 echos. Still gotta get more to max everything out

Just run really fast. How have people not realized this yet? Mobs are slow. Once I explored a fair amount and was ready for the boss, just ran past everything simple as that. Been doing that all game.

Yeah I do that mostly when I'm focusing on a boss, but even that area is tough. Those skull things shoot and are pretty accurate even when moving. I found a ladder that bypasses them, but even that is hard to get to.

For anyone who hasn't gotten there yet, right after you beat that guy, make sure you check all the doors in the school area. There's a ton of doors and about 4 or 5 chests you can get.
