That's weird because I found the 4 wheelers and jet skis to be the worst with the new controls. I must be in the minority because I find the new heli controls to be a lot better. I can actually stabilize the little bird enough to shoot down other choppers, but in BF3 I couldn't ever get it stable because my trigger finger is on the throttle, both thumbs are stabilizing with the sticks, and I'm firing with LB.
The new controls take out a finger, if you will. You can throttle and stabilize with the sticks and fire with the trigger. No need for LB now.

I play solo, and most of the time the random people on my team are not team-oriented. Never said it doesn't take teamwork.

What modes are better for non team work in BF? Rush maps? They don't really describe them well so when I pick I am usually just guessing.

holding more flags bleeds the other teams tickets down....but they also lose a ticket for every respawn, so unlike COD domination, your deaths do matter to an extent, but usually holding the flags eats up the majority of the tickets
eta: in conquest, you have three spawning options...spawn at base, spawn at any flag your team currently holds, and spawn on one of your 3 squadmates if he's alive

Yeah same here, I switched the ground vehicle controls back to Veteran but left the choppers on default.
