Jeff, I want to see you swan dive several feet forward tonight into prone.
I also think this type of jump into prone will make it easier to dodge nades and air strikes maybe vs the one on MW2

its all fluid like 1 move though.
jump up, as you are coming down, double tap your crouch to go prone as you land
as you land you will go prone.
no, you dont go prone in the air. but my characters head remains moving the entire time, giving me the desired end result of making me tougher to kill

we are talking about going from standing position to prone in one move
It's not just that...he appears to be continually moving forward too. I think he sees a Slip and Slide that is just off camera. (That's what I am thinking this movement is...run and dive)

yeah sure, ill show yall what im talking about tonight.
does the animation look the same? obviously not looking from 3rd person
BUT I BET from the first person view, aside from "swan diving" a few feet forward, it looks the same (jump up, come down prone)

when you are running full speed, then jump into prone, you dont land in the same spot

It is a lot different.. When you strafe jump or sprint jump into prone.. You don't go prone until you hit the ground.

yes its different from the 3rd person animation that we are seeing.
but from a first person point of view.... it would be tough to notice if you are prone in the air or upright in the air for the .2 seconds this is all occuring in

not the same IMO. its a dive which is gonna be 1 button click. you cant drop shot away from an explosion. you dont dive several mw2 feet in front. and a dropshot is pretty much straight down. this SUX

ETA: might be a double click of jump button tho. either way it will be easier to do then what you have to do now to TRY and duplicate. and just as annoying
