More of a sports guy. Never been into the call of duty stuff. Was mainly going to use it for streaming movie/tv on a guest room. What games should I check out?

Perfect Choices.

I would add Nier Automata as well.

System you are using will dictate the rest.

Give Dark Souls a chance. I promise it’s not nearly as brutal as game “journalists” have said.

OP i don’t know what system you’re in but Breath of the Wild and many Zelda games are good choices here.FF10, a beautiful narrative linear constructive game with turn based combat that’s very easy if you only pursue the main story. Not sure what you like but likely I’d say CoD Cold War to introduce shooters even though not a fan, that or combine it with survival horror and play resident evil 2 remake. There’s 1 billion good games. Need more context.

MLB The Show
CoD Cold War
Red Dead Redemption 2
Forza Horizon 5

Destiny 2 is free
Madden is okay but not great

Yeah, I can see that. Make it through GTA and RDR2 though, he should be good.

If he does not need his ego stroked, you can do Automata on easy or whatever it is where it fires/dodges automatically. Then you can just enjoy the story.

I agree with others we need to know the console. RDR2 is a solid choice. Mass Effect, The Last of Us. Just search narrative or story games and your console.

I will say I disagree with half the rockstar bros here. RDR2 is an absolute masterpiece but I still don’t think it’s something I’d use to introduce someone to gaming or use as proof of concept. It’s long as frick and has many tedious activities and optional side shite. GTA 5 is a 2013 game wrapped in makeup and wasn’t great to begin with. If you’re getting into gaming the complex, multi faceted games all of us praise will come. Choose stuff that shows off a focused tight narrative( engaging gameplay, and not something meant to be difficult or a time sink for your game’s to hook you.

So since I posted (forgot I had) have been messing with the pa4 more getting all my tv a streaming stuff on there. Getting used to the remote. Sign up for PlayStation pass (good or bad idea?).
Still looking for what to play. The shooting games just do not do it for me. I think sports/racing will be what I want for quick pick up.
Wondering if I would like a fantasy type thing. Used to love Zelda as a kid and like those types of movies.
Any help needed. Also the game are crazy expansive what is that all about.

PS Now is actually a great service for someone who doesn't have a lot of experience with established franchises/publishers, since you can dabble with a bit of everything.

Yeah the PlayStation play seems good. But I need to get into something that is my personality.
