I haven't even thought about that...I'd imagine there's an easy fix to that...no criminals on the streets while in the batmobile or the batmobile is for select portions of the city

but the way we've seen it integrated thus far also suggests there's no parking it in the garage/batcave

you call it when you need it, you eject and glide when it's time to exit

also, arkham nails what every super hero game should be...combat. That's what super heroes do, they beat the shite out of bad guys

with superman, it would have to be on a grander scale to accommodate his unbelievable powers. I think the superman returns game did a great job as a flight simulator and capturing a good scale, but the world was empty, the combat sucked, the story was stupid, and there was nothing to do.

Arkham is at its core a beat em up. It's the 2015 version of "Final Fight"

Yes indeed. People see a big world, and assume they're all a sandbox.

it definitely incorporates elements of that, it is a sandbox, but it's a sandbox for batman to beat up enemies, examine clues, glide around, sneak up on bad guys

trying to make it a gta game would detract from these elements that made it such a great game to begin with.

Sentrius, my father in law wanted to go into some weird store on south congress

There was a 1989 batman figure, aaaah the memories

And a superman from the same production line. Same figure I lost in California when I was 7

When will we get a game from a villain's perspective? That's the only way a sandbox GTA style would work. Would be amazing to take a similar approach to the heist planning in GTA V and apply it to ridiculous, diabolical schemes like stealing a warhead from the military base and holding the city hostage with it. Also have the hero randomly confront you in free roam and have the ability to call in your henchmen for back up to give you time to escape. It would be awesome to be able to create your own character, recruit street thugs and mob bosses into your gang and rage war on the other villains in whatever universe the game took place while simultaneously avoiding being captured by the hero.

This is supposed to be the last installment in the series - and it looks awesome - but hopefully they will still develop games in this Universe. Love the combat system and the story line. Has taken over as my favorite franchise (although Shadow of Mordor could take that crown if they keep building on that series).

I like the Arkham games but, personally I'd love to see Rocksteady do something totally new for their next game.

I wasn't initially all that enthused about this game when it was first announced but now I can't help but be excited from the gameplay footage they're showing. In like manner to "The Last of Us", I've found that I enjoy games that let you transition from stealth to combat and back during enemy encounters.
