I have heard from a couple game stores that NCAA is crap this year, and that people are trading it in for credits. Is Madden supposed to be better?

Well, i will say this much. EA sports has had 3 straight years to put out a NCAA game on at least THE same level of GAMEPLAY of what they did on the originl xbox. They still have not done it.

History wise, madden is much easier to play offensively but much tougher to play defensively. lots of high scoring shootouts. much better defensive struggles with NCAA.

I've had the exact opposite experience. I've scored 210 points in a game of NCAA before and routinely scored over 100. I don't think I've ever gone over 70 on Madden before. I LOVE this version of NCAA. Not sure what everyone is bitching about except it's harder to get to the corner which imo is a good thing. It's much more realistic to only get 3-6 yards on a running play than turn the corner 9 out of 10 times.

I think this is the best NCAA since the new systems came out. I like madden more, I'm curious to see how the new one is for the 360.

I know I am loving this version of NCAA. Getting tackled for a loss of yards, or like you said getting 3-6 yards up the middle is more realistic. I'm not rushing for 170+ yards each game with my RB anymore.

The stats seem more real, other then completion percentage...

I don't see much wrong with this years either, aside from the usual glitches you grow to expect. Bogus challenges on plays that are clearly correct, but still get overturned and the like.

And if you're scoring 100+, you're playing weak teams or not on Heisman lol.

Or you're a beast.

I'm not scoring like that on this year's version. Then again I've played 90 percent of my games with ULM, not exactly a juggernaut.

Very untrue. NCAA is more random and easier to hit the big play. Madden is more tight and precise therefore making it harder to get the big play.
