Bye Week, but doing work on the recruiting trail

I passed on that ATH. He was one of those awkward guys that is really good overall, but he just wouldn't have worked in my system. I really wanted him, but when I realized I was in a battle and I had other guys that I needed to give points to, I just couldn't make sense in allocating points to him.
Hope he you find a good spot for him, I don't know what positions he would have played for me.
Thats an incredible haul though, you always get the best.

9's - why are we getting owned for that ATH by Vandy, Eastern mich and Toledo? WTF?

I haven't checked the dynasty yet but seeing peaster without a dt on that list is beautiful

Don't know WILDA. There a couple on my board where they have me confused.

Played Purdue last night and they were pretty bad.
I was up 63-7 going into the fourth quarter and pulled a few starters to give the backups some reps.I milked the clock and tried to score late but I fell short by a yard.
My defense played the best they have since being at OSU.I had 6 INT`s and 3 were returned for pick 6's and 2 of those 3 were by the same CB. Purdue kept trying to throw these 8 yard out routes and my DB`s would jump the routes.
I`m trying to spread the ball around more to other WR`s, but they can`t get the separation that DeAngelis gets fast enough, leaving my QB to get hammered. I will continue to work on it, because there will be a time when he will get shut down especially by users.
Next season, I`m hoping this recruiting class can provide some other avenues to improve on my game offensively and more importantly defensively. The secondary is decent, but they don`t create many turnovers. I don`t know what got into them this week, creating those 6 int`s. I`m thinking it was a fluke.
There are two areas I need the most help in and that is the running game and the secondary. I have some ballers coming up to secure the frontline and the middle on defense, just need some shut down corners.

What kind of routes are they running? You tried quicker hitting routes?

I project him to either be a QB or a SS/LB. Liked his throwing power plus has decent speed for a QB and I am losing two 99 QBs after this season.
Both coverages are decent and his pursuit and play recognition are good for defense. His speed on defense worries me though.

He's still there. I have another DT that I'm going after as well.

I think i need some different short routes. I have some, but most are one or two guys slant or curl and the others go deep.

Random thought... Any of yall interested in a fantasy baseball league? One can still be created and have a draft. I'm tired of the one that I'm in.

Throw in some Ins, Outs, and Drags too.

I used to love running drags. In '13 I felt like it was unstoppable, still good route concept for small fast receivers or if you like putting your running back in the slot.

Damn. Yeah he wouldn't have played QB for me cause I have what will be a Sophomore QB and RS Freshman QB for next year. Both pretty talented. I redshirted one and not the other cause I am trying to perfectly stagger them. I want to eventually end up where I can just go after one stud QB every year that won't play until he is a senior, but he will be like 95-99 by that time every year.

I`ve never had enough talent for that thought to creep into my head. Good idea if you can convince them to stay.
I always want to play someone early because I want to see what skills they have in a game. Sometimes they don`t seem to translate on the field like they should according to the ratings. I`m learning with more talent on these OSU teams, that I can wait to see what these guys will become.
When I`ve been bored at work, I`ve actually wrote down all my players and the overall and a couple of key ratings like speed and Throw Power, Accuracy to see if there are significant changes from year to year. There are some that advance more than others, but generally the freshman to sophomore OVR moves up like 3 points and sophomore to Junior is 4 points and junior to senior is 5 points. some more and some less. There definitely isn`t anyone going from a 78 OVR to a 90 OVR in a season like someone did in the past.
