Baylor starts the season with a win over Air Force. My 95 overall QB got hurt in the 1st quarter but my backup was able to come in and throw for almost 400 yards. Also, I lost my stud RB for 5 weeks.

Peaster - you may have taken one of my instant commits.

I've never seen it happen on a console - just on the computer - where it gives me the commit, and online it it says you have him. So I might have 3.

One is a 79 ATH (WR), and one is a 77 OLB. Nice take for me.

9's, we are listed 1-2 for quite a few elite prospects. You need to know your role here in the B1G. I already have gentlemen's agreements with these guys so that means you can't recruit them anymore. Thanks

Willie Beamen`s first game as coach of Ohio State wasn`t an easy one. Ohio State came into the game listed 43rd out of the 126 NCAA teams. Their opponent was #12 Texas at home in Austin.

OSU took an early 14-0 lead. Texas flipped a switch in the 2nd QTR scoring 17 unanswered points, before OSU was able to gain the lead before half 21-17. Texas picked off OSU QB Nate Harris 4 times to keep the game within reach, but in the third quarter is where back up QB Justin Kelly showed his promise and gave the Buckeyes the lead for good. The Buckeyes finished off Texas 56-46.

Beamen said after the game" They told us don`t mess with Texas, but we're hardheaded. We did and we won. Oh, and frick Bevo!, yeah I know he`s dead. frick him anyway!"

Sounds like Coach Beamen is going to get fined.

UNC will take on cross state rival and top 10 opponent North Carolina-Charlotte (what the frick) later tonight. Coach Weis thinks the Tar Heels can compete for an ACC championship, and be a possible dark horse candidate for the National Championship. The 1st 3 games of the season will dictate what this team can do.

Don't know if you looked at the schedule, but we play each other in week 2. Looking forward to it.

You better be prepared for that UNCC team. They ball hard for a cpu team.

Yea, looking forward to the challenge

Then I have a rematch against Baylor from the Russell Athletic Bowl

9's, I plan on scouting hard after the Super Bowl. I'm a little nervous about it. My team is solid, but not good enough to just go out and wing it. I'm going to have to play smart and pick my chances. Gonna sling it around the yard this year. I need to put up yards to help my recruiting.

Good deal. I would be very careful passing on that team. In the past they were very good against the pass and deep coverage.

As you can tell by your schedule, we try to schedule ranked teams out of conference, to make it competitive and to knock those ranked cpu teams down some.

Good luck to you this season.

Well, I have an average OL and a very very average RB. I have 5 WR's over 80 and one who is a 90. And my QB is an 87...I'm gonna have to pass. Just hope for the best!

It should be interesting.

I`m not sure what to expect from your team, and I have no idea what my team's strengths and weaknesses truly are after 1 game with my new team.

The Tar Heels pull off the upset!! 42-38

UNC really dominated all game, but threw an int in the end zone and allowed 2 special teams TD's in the first half. However, the UNC offense could not be stopped. Charlotte marched down the field with ease late in the 4th quarter to take a 38-35 lead with 2:20 left. But Sophomore sensation Chadwick Romain returned the ensuing kickoff 64 yards into 49er territory.

Knowing that there was absolutely no way the Tar Heels could stop the 49er offense with more than a minute on the clock, he decided to bench all-ACC quarterback Derek Hale (who had an outstanding game going 28/34 for 329 and 3 TD's), and put in the more running threat, Ashley Strong. Strong mostly handed off to SR Lance Mack who missed most of the game with turf toe, but grounded out 30 tough yards in the final drive. Then, with 11 seconds left, Strong read the crashing end and leaped over the opposing safety for the go ahead score.

I also want to point out, the punt return TD allowed...the guy broke literally 6 tackles and there were around 3 clips. It was horseshite.

The kick return, the same player trucked my impact player, then it was like the Red Sea. My poor kicker tried to tackle him but it was an ugly sight.
