They didn't say the word "crunk" when I was listening to it in the menus.

I turned gameflow off. It's a gimmick IMO that's the same as ask madden.

The strategy pad is fricking terrible plain and simple. I don't have time to make any adjustments on defense because the CPU hikes the ball as soon as he gets to the line. I hate having two different control layouts going from NCAA to Madden.

It's basically the same game as last year. Franchise mode looks unchanged from last year It's got amazing graphics though. It's very easy to run on the game also. I even like the little things like sock length. Makes it look more authentic.

This is true. They actually made adjustments more difficult by adding an extra step.

CPU hikes the ball as soon as he gets to the line

Last year they had an update that fixed this and added about 4-5 seconds to the time the CPU waited to snap...

It is kinda sad they have to make a patch for the same issue 2 years in a row.

i'm having a hard time believing you've played both if u say that. they are a LOT alike. I hate the strategy pad because i can't audible or make adjustments fast enough.

Online Dynasty > Online Franchise (Seriously, no salary caps still)

if you are only gonna buy 1 just buy Madden if you like NFL more and NCAA if you like college more, the games are so close you will be happier with whichever sport you like more

I've played both, and I can say that in my opinion Madden is significantly better.

I got them both the day the came out. I've played NCAA since it came out. Madden is much smoother, the player movements feel more real and there are less bugs.

I don't play any kind of online dynasty/franchise since I actually have a wife and a job.

One thing I never like about Madden on the 360 is that you can't play a season of NCAA and a season of Madden at the same time. You have to finish your season in NCAA and then play your season of Madden. If i remeber right on PS2 this wasn't the case. I liked playing the weeks like it would be in real life.

What game did more to help itself this year? I am thinking more graphics related. I had both last year and thought Madden was significantly better BUT that is not my question.

Which game is more improved from its previous years version?

I am going to buy one and am worried that Madden is not making many improvements until next year.

Honestly, madden's just a fun game to play. They made a few minor adjustments to some things and no adjustments what so ever to alot of other things. If all you're into franchise mode it's the exact same as last year, they changed nothing. The gameplay is better though, as far as "playing football" is concerned I'd say this is the most fun madden I've played in a long time.

Okay, so I sped the game speed up to "Fast" and turned the annoying arse OC commentator off and turned gameflow off and it's better. Still not quite as good as NCAA, in my honest opinion. NCAA plays so much smoother.

Really, I like it on slow. Same thing with last years game.

And yeah, that oc and dc not shutting the frick up thing got old quick.

Agreed on the OC. I think I may just put the game speed at normal. Fast is a little crazy, I think

I don't have Madden, but I gotta think the answer here is NCAA.

the frick?

in which way?

madden is significantly smoother than ncaa

there are no glitches in madden where your qb goes PA and then runs back 30 yards like in NCAA...the cutting, planting, tackling, and setting up plays are all so much smoother in madden...its not even close

I'm basing my opinions from online play.
Played them both. NCAA does not pause for a 1/4 of a second before the ball is snapped.
NCAA stuck to what made them their money. Madden (which I like more every year for the last 7-8 years) abandoned everything that made the game good. Whoever approved the changes to madden this year should be fired.
