It was in NCAA 13 too.
My brother and I had a few rules. One of which you couldn't run Four Verts unless it was an end of half/game situation.
safety play was so broken. As was how CBs would interact with slanting WRs.

From a biz POV it makes no sense that they still do yearly releases for sports titles.
It makes way more sense for them to just treat them like MMOs w/a yearly subscription plan that just upgrades things incrementally.

Why? Sports games get incredibly old after just a few months.
Just think of Destiny vs Madden. In Destiny you have people doing the same raids over and over again, for the grind of gear. In Madden, except for the paid streamers, most people put it back on the shelf after 4 or months.
The addition of ultimate team (or myteam for you 2k boyz) has made sports games incredibly profitable, as users have to reinvest in the game mode every year, starting over from scratch.
