still deciding on random draft vs just selecting.
random draft seems to handcuff... i want people to take ownership and actually select a team they want to use and build... not get stuck with a team they had cause they drafted 11th...

regarding conferences and schedules in the first season...
leave everything status quo for now?
or adjust the confs to get all the users in the same conf.?
anyone have any ideas of experience regarding this. id like a nice mix of user games and CPU games.

This usually slows down a dynasty tremendously, but it's your call. You could split everyone's teams into 3 conferences, 4 teams per conference. That works pretty well.

question: As the commish could i force a team to play another user in a custom schedule instead of FCS Northwest? Would i have control over schedules or is that up to the user. Obviously adjusting conference will adjust the schedule but im just wondering about scheduling OOC user vs user matches,
ehh frick it.. too many user games will mess this up. Ill prob adjust Confs (4 users in 3 Confs that i make) and just let it ride.

You can adjust the conferences as you see fit...really doesnt matter. I just sub out the non-conference games for user matchups. I find that 3-4 user matchups per season is ideal. Any more than that slows things down tremendously. You are the only person that can change schedules as commish.
I might leave the conferences alone here and just use the OOC slots to sched user games.
