As many years as I have played the game I have never done any kind of roster update... before we start, I'd like to know how to properly do this and does everyone have the same roster?

go to team management i believe. and then download rosters. i downloaded some today, but that's just to get by until a better set comes along.

you usually kinda can tell by paying attention to the community. i'm sure someone on this board will find one from a person that did them correctly. plus, i'm sure it will get mentioned here in this thread as well. these things take time.

you've never heard of Resistance 3? It's a FPS from Insomniac Games. Sony produces it which makes it an exclusive. Their 3rd game is coming out and they are gonna hold a multiplayer beta before hand. I got a code from a Socom 4 game. I haven't used it. The beta hasn't even started yet. It's just one of the prizes that the winner will get.

'fraid not. i'm just gonna buy a $20 dollar PSN card for the winner and email the code to you along with the beta code as well. i haven't heard from about half the entries so you might make it in. the people that have been keeping up has agreed to restart with a new bracket if necessary. if that happens, you're in along with the rest of the fill ins.

So, how long will each round last before moving on to the next round? And how will the results get reported to you? You're just going to assume people will abide by the "honor code"?
