I'm having trouble landing a bunch of players. I recruit based on needs. Anyone have any certain things you do to land a few more of these recruits.

And no, they are not all 5* players

Go after mostly pipeline guys unless you are leading, and start the season with only 12 to 15 guys on your board. This will give you a great chance of landing at least 10 of these guys. Start replacing these guys as they commit with decent players that haven't received a lot of interest, but fill your needs. Always look at the prospects actual skills, don't just look at stars. I usually search prospects that have me in the top 10 by position, look at their skills, and then pick a guy I shouldn't have too much problem getting that will fit my scheme. You should be able to get about five more commitments before offseason. In offseason go after some more studs that just got added, and you should be able to land another 5 or so. Works for me...good luck.

Me too. In season 2 I offered everyone early. Generally, I spend ~30-40 mins on the 5 stars, 20 mins on the 4 stars and 10 on the 3 stars. This changes based on how many players I'm recruiting at the position, but in general this is how I'm trying it this season. I'm in week 6 I think and I only have 3 commits and all are 3 stars. My recruiting board starts out with a full 35 and as players commit to other schools I drop them off and don't replace them until the off-season and use that time towards the guys on my board currently. Worked well for me in last year's game but we'll see about this year.

Next season I might start with a board of 20 or so guys instead of the full 35.
